About Me & My Business

I started my business in mid-2007, while we still lived in Canada; however, photography has been my hobby for many years.  I was getting so much positive feedback and encouragement from family and friends that I decided it was time to take it to the next level.

With the support of family and friends, I have not only honed my skills in photography, but in how custom prints are processed, personally signed, matted, and framed; ensuring that the highest level of quality is provided to all customers.  The frames I use are made of a high quality composite material, and come in a variety of attractive finishes.  Unless you specify otherwise, frames are chosen based on what color will best complement each image  When ordering a print, please be sure to specify the frame quality you would like (good frame or best frame).

Nature’s beauty has always brought me peace of mind.  No matter what turmoil the world might be experiencing, the natural world always perseveres, and shows us that there can still be moments that take our breath away.

I have tried, through my photos, to capture some of the wonderful sights that our world has to offer.  I think it is vital that we start taking better care of our planet, for our children’s sake.  I do not want my daughter to grow up in a world where species are rapidly winking out of existence.  As strong as Nature is in some ways, she is equally vulnerable in others, and I think it is our duty to make sure that our actions have as little effect as possible on the natural world.

In 2011, we relocated to the State of South Carolina in the United States, and I’ve already taken a number of beautiful images in this scenic part of the US.

Welcome to the website of Through Christy’s Lens.  Photography is ultimately an expression of passion. Anyone who feels passionate about the natural world, especially the amount of beauty that is found within it, will surely enjoy this website. Please explore the photo galleries and experience the beauty of the natural world as seen through my lens.
